Classic VW Air Ride Shocks for Type 1 Link Pin, Beetle, Bug & Ghia take the guess work out of putting your air ride together These shocks come with pre-installed metal swivel fittings that allow you to use 1/4" air line. These particular air shocks have a compressed length of 10.5" and extended length of 16.125"  

Pro: In most cases these will allow you set your front beam on the ground when using drop spindles.  

Con: Laying the beam on the ground may make it difficult to move the vehicle in the event of system failure. 

Consider a set of Bolt On Relocators to go with your set up otherwise the angle will not work as designed. Or consider purchasing the entire kit.
